I sat down, staring at the blasted glaring thing of a screen, on one hand doing that procrastinating thing, and on the other reading someone's awe-inspiring blog. I don't know how it ever occured to me as inspiring but somehow she thinks really deeply, and I guess I can say I admire that skill of hers. Her life is so full, so glamorous. Lucky girl.

It's high time I actually have to wake myself up from this stubborness or whatsoever. It's murdering my resolutions. My homework, they're far from completion. 22 Essays, I can never ever attempt to understand the mind of a teacher. I really have to point out the fact that essays do take more than one day for the appropriate interpretation of a question, understanding of its requirements and then the application of some long unused skills. Additionally, they should - in my opinion - consider the existence of CCAs and extras and shouldering a head's responsibilities, and even Orientation prep, and above all, this is a DAMN holiday. Ten days and another four gone, they can't expect someone to bring homework on a cruise down the River Nile for God's sake. Wait, I think I'm just giving blatant excuses. Pardon me.

Seriously, thinking about this gets me swarming in fatigue. I thought Onigiri would cheer me up but apparently not. Well, it's been a rather long but actually quite short day. Ah whatever.

C4 outing was fine, except the turnout was a little bit of a disappointment. As told by Amanda, they took C4 literally 'cause only four turned up. Let me tell you the story of the disappearing acts. It's quite hilarious, or so it seems to me. Originally we'd expected at least fifteen, inclusive of the non-responsive people. Then the night before the responses came in, it was more or less twelve who could make it. Before I even left the house yet a few more confirmed their untimely absence. On the way to Plaza Sing, I was told CQ couldn't make it because of a swollen leg. (Aw, hope it gets well soon). So that was it. Anyway, we stopped by Pastamania for some food and drinks then Kym and I made our way up slowly with the amazing number of interestingly-positioned escalators to the Cinema. I'm amused that I happen to always lose my way around PS. We're glad we got really good seats for National Treasure, according to the woman at the ticketing counter, (and later proven when we went in), but it happened that Gaoyang Sam and Faiz wouldn't be able to make it for the 1:20 screening so they weren't coming along.

National Treasure, thrilling I must say at certain parts but then later I realised it's somewhat cliched. Okay so here goes the general storyline for treasure hunts (SPOILER AHEAD):

This guy sets off with his trusty assistant and his woman. Finds clues all around the world, how do they even manage to get around so fast. Then they sneak in somewhere OMG-ishly not-supposed-to and then stumble upon the vital clue with a bad guy hot on their heels. Then they get trapped stupidly in some cave or other with this bad guy and search their way out, finding the treasure (which was not worth all that fuss). Something big happens, like gigantic rocks which could crush people just starts falling off. The scurry out somewhere and then the bad guy gets trapped and dies and they see the light.

Really! Alright I'm sorry if this really sounded exactly like National Treasure but I have the impression that these movies are everywhere. Plus Nicholas Cage is so treasure-hunter looking, it's nothing out of the blue. It's just the hilariously thrilling parts that makes it different, but I guess it should be worth the 7bucks (: Then I left with Kym. There was this bugging guilt of leaving my kid cousin who came specially for us and we just left him home alone like that. I bought him fishballs from OCK to appease him later on. Hahah. Then Tiara and Amanda hung around to wait for Sam and Faiz.

Longest post I've ever written in eons, I like it. I'm inspired, probably. Heh.

Auf wiedersehen.
